Warranty Policy
1. 1-Year Limited Warranty
Products from Hidoes, iENYRID, and SAMEBIKE come with a 1-year limited warranty for the bike/scooter and a 6-month warranty for the battery, starting from the delivery date. This warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not include free repairs for the motherboard, battery, or screen. To initiate a warranty claim, contact our Customer Service for manufacturer confirmation. You are responsible for return shipping costs, while we cover the cost of shipping the repaired item back to you. Damage caused by artificial factors (e.g., misuse, accidents) is not covered, but you may return the item at your cost for paid repairs.
2. Warranty Exemptions
The warranty does not cover:
- Natural degradation, wear and tear, or damage during use.
- Damage due to misuse, drops, falls, water exposure, or unauthorized modifications.
The warranty is void if you:
- Open the device to attempt repairs.
- Modify, remove, or swap parts.
- Use the device improperly or continue using it after a fault occurs, causing further damage.
- Fail to contact us when the issue first arises.
In such cases, no compensation is provided, but you may purchase replacement parts at your expense, including the original component cost and shipping fees.
3. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Items
If your product arrives broken or non-functional (DOA), contact us within 7 days of delivery to follow our 7-Day Product Guarantee. After verification, we will offer a replacement or refund, with return shipping costs covered by us.
4. How to Request a Warranty (Repair or Replacement)
To request warranty service, submit a ticket to our Customer Service at support@buyebike.shop with:
- A detailed description of the issue: What happened? When? How? Include your order number and SKU.
- Steps you’ve taken to resolve the issue.
- Clear photos or videos (via WeTransfer) showing the defect, taken in good lighting.
Our team will respond with a solution as soon as possible. All returns must be authorized by our Support Team with an RMA form. Unauthorized returns, incorrect items, or empty packages will not be compensated. Upon arrival, our technical team will inspect the item; if it cannot be repaired, we will offer an alternative solution.
5. Shipping and Costs
You are responsible for return shipping fees (except in 7-day DOA cases) and any customs charges, duties, or tariffs, which will be deducted from any authorized compensation. We ship repaired or replacement items via Flat Rate Shipping; faster shipping methods are available at an additional cost. In cases of misuse, all repairs, accessories, and shipping fees (both ways) are at your expense.
6. Local Maintenance and Replacement Parts
Due to high return shipping costs, we recommend local repairs under our guidance. You may open the device for photos/videos to diagnose the issue without voiding the warranty. If a local repair shop is available, provide us with a quotation; we will cover repair costs if they are less than 20% of the product price and below €100 in total. For heavy items, we offer parts replacement or technical support instead of full returns.
7. Refurbished Products
Refurbished products are sold at a discounted price and do not include after-sales service or warranty. If repairs or parts are needed, you are responsible for purchasing them at your expense. By purchasing a refurbished product, you agree to these terms.
